Jami Hisab respects your privacy and gives you the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data.
How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Jami Hisab account:
- Send an email to support@qadeerjami.online from the email address registered with your Jami Hisab account.
- Use the subject line: Jami Hisab Account Deletion Request
- Include the following information:
- Your full name
- Your registered email address
- Your registered mobile number
- Clearly state that you want your Jami Hisab account and associated data to be permanently deleted.
For your security, we may contact you through your registered email address to verify that the request was submitted by the account owner. Never include your password in the deletion request.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
After your request is verified and approved, the following data associated with your account will be permanently deleted or anonymized, where applicable:
- Full name
- Email address
- Mobile number
- Profile photo
- Login credentials and authentication tokens
- Notification token
- Group membership information
- Tasks created or assigned through your account
- Expense and bill information associated with your account
- Bill, food, receipt and payment-proof images uploaded by you
- Notifications and other account-related information
Some shared group, expense, settlement or transaction records may be anonymized instead of immediately removed when they are required to maintain accurate records for other group members.
Data Retention
Most account data will be deleted or anonymized after the request has been verified. Limited information may be retained temporarily where required for fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance or backup recovery.
Residual copies may remain in secure backups for up to 30 days before being automatically removed.
Processing Time
Verified account deletion requests are normally processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion process has been completed.
Once your account has been permanently deleted, it cannot be restored. You will need to create a new account if you want to use Jami Hisab again.
Delete Specific Content Without Deleting Your Account
Where deletion controls are available in the app, you may delete eligible bills, expenses, tasks, uploaded images or other content without deleting your entire account. Some shared records may remain visible in anonymized form to other group members.
