Device and Installation Information
The app creates a random installation identifier and receives a Firebase Cloud Messaging token for the device. This information is used to register the device and deliver price-change notifications.
Favourite Products
When a user marks a product as a favourite, the app stores the selected product, price type, and applicable market area. This allows the system to send notifications only for products selected by that user.
Selected Province and District
The app stores the province and district manually selected by the user so that relevant prices can be displayed and the selection remains available when the app is opened again.
The app does not access or collect precise GPS location.
Technical Information
Limited technical information may be processed when the app communicates with our servers, including request time, device platform, error information, and server logs. This information is used for security, troubleshooting, and maintaining reliable service.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Display commodity, fuel, gold, silver, fruit, and vegetable prices.
- Remember the user’s selected province and district.
- Save and synchronize favourite products.
- Send automatic notifications when the price of a favourite product changes.
- Open the relevant product details when a notification is selected.
- Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app and its backend services.
- Prevent misuse, unauthorized requests, and technical failures.
3. Price Information
Price Alert Pakistan obtains price information from public, official, and third-party market sources. Prices may vary by source, district, market, date, availability, or reporting method.
The information displayed in the app is provided for general informational purposes. Users should confirm important prices with the relevant official authority, market, retailer, or service provider before making a financial or purchasing decision.
4. Firebase Cloud Messaging
Price Alert Pakistan uses Firebase Cloud Messaging, a service provided by Google, to deliver push notifications.
Firebase may process device identifiers, messaging tokens, and technical information required to deliver notifications. Google processes this information according to its own privacy policies and terms.

Device-registration and favourite-product information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide notifications and app functionality.
An outdated or invalid notification token may be disabled automatically. Operational logs may be retained temporarily for security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and service maintenance.
Users may remove a favourite product within the app to stop future price alerts for that product. Users may also request deletion of associated device and favourite information by contacting us.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted HTTPS communication, restricted server access, protected credentials, and access controls.
However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. User Choices and Rights
Users can:
- Add or remove favourite products within the app.
- Enable or disable notifications through Android settings.
- Change the selected province or district.
- Clear local app data through Android settings.
- Uninstall the app at any time.
- Request access to or deletion of associated device and favourite information by contacting us.
Because the app does not require a personal account, users requesting deletion may be asked for limited technical information necessary to identify the relevant installation record.

Price Alert Pakistan is a general-information application and is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13.
