QJ Network (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Jami Hisab mobile application (“Jami Hisab” or the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
By using Jami Hisab, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register or use Jami Hisab, we may collect:

- Profile photograph

Group and Shared Expense Information
To provide shared expense-management features, we may process:
- Group or flat names and invitation codes
- Group membership and administrative roles
- Expense and bill descriptions

- Expense splits among group members

Jami Hisab helps users record and manage shared expenses. It does not itself provide banking, lending, money-transfer or payment-processing services.

- Tasks created or assigned to users

- Notification status, including whether an alert has been read
- Device notification tokens required to deliver push notifications

Camera, Photos and Media
With your permission, Jami Hisab may access your camera or photo library when you choose to:
- Upload a profile photograph
- Capture or upload a bill image
- Upload food or receipt photographs
The App accesses only the images you choose or create for these purposes.
2. How We Use Information

- Create, verify and manage user accounts
- Allow users to sign in using their registered details
- Create and manage groups
- Invite and connect group members
- Record, divide and manage shared expenses
- Display bills, receipts and payment status
- Create, assign and manage tasks
- Send relevant app and push notifications

- Maintain app security and prevent misuse
- Diagnose errors and improve performance
- Comply with applicable legal requirements
We do not sell users’ personal information.
3. Information Sharing
Information may be shared in the following circumstances:
With Other Group Members
Information relevant to a shared group—such as your name, profile image, expenses, payer information, assigned share, tasks and payment status—may be visible to other members of that group.
With Service Providers
We may use trusted service providers for services such as:
- Cloud messaging and push notifications
- App hosting and database operation
- Error diagnosis and technical maintenance
- Email delivery and customer support
These providers may process limited information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.
For Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable laws or valid legal requests

- Investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents

Business Changes

4. Data Storage and Security

No internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and should notify us if they believe their account has been accessed without permission.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Operate and provide Jami Hisab
- Maintain users’ accounts and shared records
- Resolve disputes and support requests
- Prevent fraud or misuse

When an account-deletion request is completed, we will delete or anonymise associated personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law, necessary for security, or needed to preserve records involving other group members.
Some information included in shared expense or group records may need to remain in anonymised or limited form so that other users’ financial records remain understandable.
6. Account and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their Jami Hisab account and associated personal information.

Please send the request from the email address registered with your Jami Hisab account and include your registered username or mobile number so that we can verify ownership.
After verification, we will process the request within a reasonable period. Certain records may be retained when required by law, for fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or to preserve shared records belonging to other users.
Users may also use any account-deletion option available inside the App.
7. User Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable law, users may request to:
- Access their personal information
- Correct inaccurate account information
- Update their profile
- Delete selected uploaded content where available
- Withdraw optional camera, photo or notification permissions
- Request account and personal-data deletion

Disabling certain permissions may prevent some App features from working correctly.
8. Push Notifications
Jami Hisab may send notifications about:
- Group invitations
- Expenses and bills
- Payment approvals or status changes
- Tasks and reminders
- Other account-related activity
Users can control notification permission through their device settings. Disabling notifications does not delete their account or records.
9. Children’s Privacy
Jami Hisab is not directed to children under 13 years of age, or under the minimum age required by applicable local law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, they may contact us at support@qadeerjami.online.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The App may use or connect with third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies.
